About the Program

The Spanish Language Program introduces students to the basics of one of the most widely spoken languages in the world through engaging and interactive sessions. The program focuses on building early communication skills by introducing children to greetings, introductions, everyday vocabulary, and simple conversational phrases in Spanish.

Each class incorporates a mix of storytelling, songs, games, and role-playing activities that help students learn vocabulary such as numbers, colors, body parts, family members, and everyday objects. Through fun and immersive activities, students gradually become comfortable listening to and speaking simple Spanish words and phrases while developing confidence in using a new language.

Learning Outcome:
1) Basic Spanish Communication Skills
Students learn to introduce themselves, greet others, and handle simple everyday exchanges in Spanish through structured conversational practice.
2) Core Vocabulary Building
Vocabulary in core categories including colours, numbers, family, food, and daily routines is built through interactive games and songs.
3) Listening & Comprehension Skills
Students develop listening comprehension by following instructions, songs, and short stories delivered in Spanish.
4) Pronunciation & Speaking Practice
Early phonetic awareness of Spanish sounds and correct pronunciation habits are established through guided speaking exercises.
5) Understanding Spanish Grammar Basics
Students gain a foundational understanding of how Spanish grammar differs from English, including basic sentence structure and key patterns.
