About the Program

The Street Play is a theatre-based program where students learn acting, expression, and storytelling through performance. Each session includes voice exercises, movement activities, and rehearsal of scenes to build confidence.
Students work together to create and present a street play based on engaging themes.
By the end of the program, students will be able to perform confidently, express ideas clearly, and engage an audience effectively.

Learning Outcome:
1) Acting & Expression Basics

Students develop voice projection, body language, and basic acting techniques through theatre exercises and expression-based activities.
2) Storytelling & Social Themes
Understanding of storytelling is built as students explore real-life issues and social messages through street play concepts and scripts.
3) Dialogue Delivery & Improvisation
Students practise dialogue delivery, spontaneity, and improvisation through guided scenes and interactive performance exercises.
4) Teamwork & Group Coordination
Collaboration skills are developed as students work together on scenes, synchronisation, and collective storytelling.
5) Performance & Stage Confidence
Confidence in public performance is built progressively, culminating in a street play presentation for an audience.
