Each session begins with voice culture exercises and breathing work, developing the tonal clarity and pitch accuracy that Hindustani classical singing demands.
2) Swara Practice & Raga Introduction
Students progress through structured Swara exercises and are introduced to foundational Raga patterns, building their understanding of the Hindustani tonal system.
3) Bandish Learning & Riyaz Discipline
Guided learning of bandish compositions and regular, structured riyaz practice build the performance repertoire and discipline that classical vocal training requires.
4) Musical Expression & Listening
Students develop the ability to navigate the Hindustani tonal system expressively — not just repeating melodies, but singing with understanding and feeling.
5) Formal Examination Pathway
Graded examinations through Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya are available, providing students with an optional, nationally recognised framework for advancing their classical music journey.
